Drowning

I loved being around you.

You were my home away from home

Now all you bring me is anger and sadness

Along with memories of how I’ll never be good enough.

My Carefree State

I live in a constant state of losing my mind

But your face,

Your laugh,

Your smile,

Always steers me away from insanity.

Green

Will my eyes ever shine as bright as yours?

Will someone look at my eyes the same way I look at yours?

Filled with jealousy over your flawless beauty.

Loop

So much time wasted in despair.

But without the feeling of it,

All I can think about is how

We’ll soon be walking together again.

Paradise

50ft in the air,

At the edge of the world,

The only place where all my problems are insignificant.

I can finally breathe.

I love how you can write so much emotion in just 4 lines. Your poems are always my favorite.
